Higbee Beach Bird Walk - Friday, May 27th, 2016

The Yellow-breasted Chat was a good early bird on this morning's Higbee walk, as it sang -  if you can call those clucks, whistles and chirps a song - from atop a tree close to the road. Late in the walk a Barred Owl called from within the wet woods, distracting us from our focus on the Blue Grosbeaks and Orchard Orioles in the field.  Leaders: Kathy Horn, Roger Horn, and Catherine Busch.
