Fall Migrants at the Rea Farm - Saturday, November 12, 2016

A clear, cold and breezy morning. Overhead there were numerous Black and Turkey Vultures as well as several Red-tailed Hawks, Sharp-shinned and Cooper's Hawks, a few Red-shouldered Hawks and at least one Bald Eagle. Sparrows were found here and there and included White-throated, Song, Field, and one distant Vesper Sparrow. The pond contained many Gadwall with an American Wigeon and several Northern Shovelers. We also had good views of several Palm Warblers. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Kyle Chelius, Barb Bassett, Deb Payson, Brett Ewald, and Michael McCabe.
