Hawks,Trails and Beaches - Saturday, October 14th, 2017

An overcast afternoon made for great sky watching, and we were rewarded with 12 active Merlins on a mission to rid the area of dragonflies! Also good Parasitic Jaeger activity over the feeding flock on the rips. The amazing flight and roost of Great Blue Herons continues. Leaders: Bert Hixon, Mary Watkins, Dave and Lynn Pollard.
